Monpazier is known as one of the most beautiful bastide villages in the Périgord and is situated between the Dordogne and the Lot. Monpazier was built in the thirteenth century. Visit the church and the square and do not forget the Office du Tourisme. Here you will find a small exhibition on the history of the Bastides including scale models and archaeological finds.
