Description
L' Ancienne Forge is an attractive holiday home for 4 people. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a fireplace and an open kitchen that is professionally equipped, with a practical gas stove with 2 ovens, microwave, 2 refrigerators with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine and all accessories. The living room has a TV and a comfortable sofa that can also be converted into a spacious double bed (2 additional people can sleep here). There is a separate toilet.
You reach the top floor via a beautiful walnut staircase. Here there are 2 spacious bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower.
Outside
There is a garden 110m² with terrace. There is garden furniture and a barbecue. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the typical French scenery.
Saint-Pompont is a medieval village in the Périgord Noir. There is a bakery, a butcher, a few restaurants, a pharmacy and even a small supermarket. There is a market every Friday morning and during the holidays you can taste the local products every Saturday evening during the Marché Nocturne Gourmand. Beautiful nature, many birds and the occasional deer or a low-flying balloonist. You can enjoy walking (or jogging) and cycling. Daglan (10-15 minutes by car or 20-30 minutes by bike) is a very beautiful village with a lovely river, truly a little paradise! The towns of Belvès, La Roque-Gageac and Domme are also definitely worth a visit.
