Description
Chartreuse Siorac is an elegant 18th century holiday home. Situated on a 2 hectare estate near the village of Siorac-en-Périgord, between Sarlat and Bergerac, it overlooks the valley and offers panoramic views of the countryside.
Chartreuse Siorac offers spacious and luxurious accommodation for 20 guests plus 4 babies in 9 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The adjoining guest house can accommodate a further 4 guests.
Chartreuse Siorac has a private swimming pool, fully fenced for the safety of smaller children and a games room with pool room, table football and ping pong table.
Chartreuse Siorac comprises on the ground floor three double bedrooms and two bathrooms and separate toilets. Also on the ground floor is a large living room and a comfortable private 'salon', both with large fireplaces, where you can relax. The kitchen is fully equipped and has direct access to a lovely outside terrace.
On the first floor there are four other double bedrooms (two twin and two double), a single bedroom, a children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds, a bathroom and shower room and two separate toilets. There is also a large playroom with lots of games for the children. Each room is furnished with a large number of antique furniture, each with its own story.
Outside
There are several terraces offering exceptional view of the valley. There is also a small children’s play area and a BBQ area. The 12mx6m swimming pool, all fenced and also secured with an alarm is located in a sunny area and has a lovely view across the garden. The Swimming pool is open according to season.
Changeover day is flexible. 4 days minimum in mid season, 7 days in July and August
Chartreuse Siorac is 1,5km from the center of a the village of Siorac which as all facilities including a supermarket. River Dordogne at 3 km. Bergerac airport is 45min drive only and the many Chateaux and Bastide towns of the Dordogne are all within a short drive. It is therefore ideally situated for exploring the beautiful region of Black Perigord and sampling the local specialities in the many excellent restaurants nearby. Sarlat, Les Eyzies, Limeul, Beynac, Domme, St Cyprien are all just a short distance away. There is a 18 holes and a 9 holes golf course at Siorac at a convenient 5 min drive from the chartreuse.
