You enter on the 1st floor and through the glass door you have direct access to a large living room full of original features. The cosy sitting area has a large open fireplace, 2 sofas, an armchair and a flat screen TV. The dining area has a large solid wood dining table, chairs and a sideboard. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and comes complete with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer and all the usual cooking appliances you would expect.
A hallway leads to the first sleeping area.
There are 4 bedrooms in total
Bedroom 1 has a view over the garden and pool, with a large double bed (160cm) and a wardrobe. There is a shower room with a walk-in shower, wash basin and a wall-hung toilet.
A wooden staircase leads down to the garden level (ground floor), where you will find bedrooms 2 and 3.
Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with another large double bed (160 cm)
Bedroom 3 has two single beds with a wardrobe. These 2 bedrooms have direct access to the lower terrace and the same views over the back garden and pool.
These rooms share a beautiful modern shower room with a walk-in shower and washbasin unit. And a separate toilet completes the lower floor.
From the 1st floor, another wooden staircase leads to the 2nd floor and there you will find the last bedroom.
Bedroom 4 has a large double bed of 180 cm wide (which can be separated to make two single beds), a single bed and a pouffe. This modular bedroom is ideal as a family or children's room. The beautiful shower room with large shower, washbasin and toilet completes the upper floor.
Accessible from outside, you will find a laundry room with a washing machine

The terrace with table and chairs at the entrance to the house is ideal for a sunset while enjoying the views over the surrounding countryside. The covered terrace running the length of the house is equipped with tables and chairs and a built-in barbecue and is ideal for al fresco meals on warm summer days or cooler evenings. Domaine de la Dame has a beautiful private swimming pool measuring 7m x 3.5m and is situated below the house. There are sun loungers, parasols, drinks tables and other seating for your use around the pool. The large garden has lawns, ideal for ball games. There is parking for several cars at the end of the private road.

The house is built into the hillside and there are several terraces and low walls which could be dangerous for young children.
The building to the right of the main house in the photos is part of the property but is locked - there will be no one else on the property!
In high season (2nd week July to last week August) preference is given to 9 day rentals.
Domaine de la Dame is situated in a beautiful and very peaceful rural setting, but has the advantage of being only 5 minutes drive from the village of Cénac et St Julien and Domme; with the famous medieval market town of Sarlat nearby.
Cénac is a large village with a post office, chemist, doctors surgery, supermarket, newsagent, 2 bakers, 2 butchers, hairdresser and a number of cafés, restaurants, a garage and a petrol station. There is an excellent market every Tuesday, a farm shop with local produce and a wine shop.
