Domaine Le Mas Sainte Croix is an estate with a 16th-century old farmhouse that has been converted into a very luxurious holiday villa for 10 people and there is a second holiday home for 2 people. The villa and the holiday home have been completely renovated, retaining the character and history of the accommodations and where luxury and comfort come together to perfection.

Kitchen and sitting room
The fully equipped kitchen (55 m2) is literally the center of the house. Consisting of a Smeg 5-burner stove with a large-sized electric oven; a Samsung washing machine; Siemens dishwasher and fridge / freezer; a Nespresso machine with Aeroccino milk frother and a Siemens Porsche Design filter coffee maker. The terracotta tiles continue to the sitting room (44m2), which, like the kitchen, has a large fireplace with wood burning stove (wood is provided) and doors that lead to the swimming pool and summer kitchen lead. There are 3 comfortable sofas and many books, DVDs and games to enjoy. The flat screen TV has English channels. There is a wireless speaker that can be connected via Bluetooth to a telephone, tablet or laptop.
There are 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and has 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 is also located on the ground floor and has 2 single beds and a bathroom with shower. One of these rooms is wheelchair accessible, as is the majority of the ground floor and the outside area. A third bed can be placed in the other, so that an extra person can sleep here.
The remaining three bedrooms are on the first floor and are served by two staircases. Bedroom 3 is at the top of the stairs to the right of the kitchen. This room has a 180 x 200 cm bed and a shower. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are accessible via the staircase that leads from the kitchen to the floor.
These bright bedrooms are both spacious with a double bed of 180 x 200 cm, ample cupboard space, wooden floors and beautiful original beams. The windows overlook the fields and the forests behind them. It is also the ideal lookout point to spot deer, birds of prey and wild boar. The bathrooms in the main bedrooms have both a bathtub and a shower. Each bathroom has Noir toiletries from The White Company, a hairdryer, and each bedroom has a summer fan.

Holiday home 2 people
Le Mazet is a charming, attractive and detached holiday home for 2 people. It is the perfect place if you want to explore the Dordogne region or just want to relax in the private garden. Le Mazet is accessible via the garden, a stone staircase leads to the front door. You enter the living room with open kitchen (36 m2). It is a double-height sunny room with the original beams in sight and windows in all four walls. There is a wood burning stove in the large fireplace (wood is provided).
Le Mazet is fully equipped - a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, satellite TV with English channels, DVD player, wireless speaker and free Wi-Fi. The open kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove and electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine with Aeroccino milk frother.
From the living room a staircase leads to the bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor. There is a king-size bed, dressing table and chair, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink, toilet, washing machine and towel radiator.
Le Mazet has its own private area in the garden with sun beds and chairs, a Weber charcoal barbecue and dining table and chairs for outdoor dining, reading, relaxing or enjoying a good glass of wine. Due to its south-facing location, Le Mazet benefits from the sun from morning to evening. You have a spectacular view of the church of Sainte Croix.
Outside
Summer kitchen
Opposite the kitchen is the summer kitchen (65m²) that is completely covered. The ideal place where you will spend many hours. This former barn has retained its original roof, but the openings on three sides offer you shade and a cooling breeze. There is a small kitchen with sink, fridge and a Weber gas barbecue with 3 burners (gas bottles are provided). A large dining table with 12 comfortable chairs make it the perfect place for long lunches, finding a cool spot in the heat of the day, copious dinners and long, balmy evenings.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is open from April to October and is 10 x 5 meters in size, heated, with salt water and with an electrical cover. A saltwater swimming pool is without the addition of chlorine, resulting in softer water and less risk of allergies and eye and skin irritations. A saltwater swimming pool only has about 10% of the salt content of the ocean. The swimming pool is situated in such a way that you can take maximum advantage of the miles distant view of the fields and forests behind it. If you want to quietly read a book, there are several secluded spots in the garden where you can isolate yourself. In the garden you can play various games such as table tennis, football, boules, badminton rackets and shuttles, a children's croquette.

At your service
The Dutch owners live in a converted tobacco barn that you pass before you arrive at Le Mas & Le Mazet, and they are happy to be at your service should you need anything - for example, advice on what to see and do.
Private chef
They can book a private chef who will cook for you at Le Mas & Le Mazet. All ingredients are sourced locally to create delicious French dishes, which are served and cleared away so that you only have to enjoy. They can meet all dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) and compile the menu in advance with you.
Dinner package upon arrival
If you prefer not to cook yourself on the day of your arrival, a Dinner Package can be provided for you upon Arrival that you only have to heat up in the oven.

Bakery delivery service
The local master baker delivers directly to your house every morning in the summer, and 6 days a week during the rest of the year. All you need to do is send it by email or email it the night before to enjoy fresh baguettes, croissants and chocolatines in the morning!
Bed linen and towels
These double beds are made with goose down comforters, but there are also anti-allergy comforters available. All bedding is 100% Egyptian cotton, the towels are also pure cotton. Pool towels for the pool are provided. For longer stays, bed linen and towels are changed weekly.
For the youngest visitors
To ensure that you do not have to bring too much yourself, there are two cots with mattress, two high chairs in both the kitchen and the summer kitchen, children's eating utensils, anti-slip bathtub mats, socket protectors, children's books and games for indoors and outdoors.
Fruit trees
In the garden there are various fruit trees, especially in the summer heavily laden with fruit. Pears, apples, cherries, plums, figs, medlar, quinces, peaches, chestnuts, walnuts, hazelnuts. Take what is up to you.
Masseuse or Yoga
Upon request, a customized 90-minute holistic massage (€ 75) can be organized under the trees or in your room, or a 75-minute tailored yoga session in the summer kitchen for individuals and groups (€ 50) per session).
Heating
Le Mas has central heating and Le Mazet is equipped with electric radiators, effective and very common in France. Le Mazet also has a wood burning stove; Le Mas even two, wood is provided.
During the summer months the owners give you some simple tips to keep the house cool. There are fans in all bedrooms.
Toiletries
You will find The White Company's Noir collection in the bathrooms (hand soap, hand & body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) and in the kitchens (cleansing hand wash and hand & body lotion).
Cleaning products
You will be provided with detergent tablets, detergent, detergent and other cleaning products for your use.
Cleaning at the end of your stay
The final cleaning is included, but you are required to leave the house tidy and clean.
The house is available for you on the day of arrival from 4:00 pm to 10:00 am on your departure day
