Maison Font Losse *** is an old farmhouse that has been completely renovated into a luxury holiday home of 215m². The style and character of the building have been preserved. The holiday home Font Losse *** is suitable for 8 people (+ baby), but it is possible to be expanded to a total of 10 people.
Font Losse has been awarded 3 stars. On the ground floor you will find the 65m² lounge with fireplace and stone oven, a 33m² kitchen (including dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, electric stove with grill and gas hobs, extractor) with a large 12-seater dining table in front of an ancient open fireplace, and a toilet. There are a total of 4 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom and has a fireplace, private bathroom with bath, shower, double sink and toilet.
The other bedrooms are located on the upper floors.
Bedroom 2 is a large, bright double room with an en-suite bathroom.
Bedroom 3 is a romantic attic room with a single bed
Bedroom 4 is a rustic children's room with three single beds and a cot, and a shower room with sink and toilet.

Gite Font Losse
As indicated earlier, the holiday home can also be expanded with the rental of a gite. So that the house is suitable for 10 people in total. The gite is located in the former granary on the ground floor of the detached barn. The gite is a total of 50m² and has a bedroom and a bathroom with bath/toilet.
The bright, spacious living room with private terrace and panoramic views over forests and valleys has a fireplace and a practical kitchen corner. The bedroom has a queen size bed, the bathroom has a large bath, sink and toilet. The gite is self-sufficient and equipped with its own gas central heating, hot water supply, washing machine, electric hobs, mini oven with grill, extractor hood, fridge, stereo, CD player and wifi internet connection.
With the gite and Maison Font Losse the total accommodation offers five bedrooms and four bathrooms on 265 square meters and can comfortably accommodate ten people and is particularly suitable as a holiday home for befriended families.
The gite is exclusively available to the tenants of Font Losse and cannot be booked separately, but only together with the country house.
Outside
Font Losse is surrounded by three large, partly covered terraces, a sheltered breakfast terrace, an afternoon terrace of 100m² with a water lily bath and a wonderful panoramic view over hills and valleys and a shaded north terrace with a complete summer kitchen with fireplace, sink, grill, gas burners and original stone oven is present. The holiday home is detached on a hill on 6000m² of land. In the garden, plum, apple, cherry and walnut trees grow alongside fig trees, lavender bushes and wild blackberry bushes.
Font Losse has a beautiful private swimming pool of 14 x 5 meters and is sheltered from the wind and has a beautiful view. Enjoy a complete holiday feeling through the palm trees on the large and partly covered sun terrace. The pool is equipped with an alarm system and there is an outdoor shower, a water-squirting crocodile as a springboard and a colorful Caribbean pool house with a kitchenette, sink, refrigerator and private toilet. In the basement of the pool house, next to the shower and changing room, you will find an original Finnish sauna made of solid Scandinavian wooden planks.
Ribérac has all amenities and is 13 km away. The cities of Perigueux (a city of art and prehistory, the cathedral of Saint-Front), Bergerac (beautiful city along the Dordogne), Saint-Emilion, Brantôme, are within a radius of 40 to 50 km and Angouleme and Bordeaux within a radius of 60 to 85 km. Aubeterre is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Brantôme, the Venice of the Perigord, with its prehistoric finds, dolmens, cliffs, springs, rocks and monasteries in the rock. Bourdeilles, a pretty little village with a medieval fortress. Villars with the most beautiful Renaissance castle in the southwest. Discover Bergerac, Perigueux and Brantôme in a gabarre (type of boat), an original way to visit the region. Take a day trip to the Dordogne and Vézère, Sarlat. The markets in the small villages, especially that of Riberac.
Activities
This region is ideal for lovers of outdoor activities and for the whole family. There are many small lakes with a sandy beach with a lifeguard nearby, where you can go swimming, fishing, pedal boating and windsurfing. There are also restaurants, snack bars and picnic areas. Canoe kayaking on the many rivers. Long marked trails for forest walks, horseback rides and mountain bikes. One can go mountain climbing and abseiling. Golfers are not forgotten as there is a golf course near Pillac.
