Gite Carrel de Domme is a beautiful gite in Domme for 4 people located in the heart of the medieval village of Domme, voted to one of the most beautiful villages in France. The shops, bars and restaurants are right outside the door. The gite in Domme is very central located so you can get fresh bread and croissants every morning with a short walk, and in the evening for the local gourmet meals!

On the ground floor you enter through the front door into the kitchen with its exposed beams and stone walls. It is fully equipped with fridge, hob, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. For extra comfort, you can enjoy a relaxed meal at the high dining table. The seating area offers a comfortable corner sofa and there is a flat screen TV and a coffee table. The beautiful wooden staircase leads to the first floor. There you will find bedroom 1. This is a double bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide), walk-in closet, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. This bedroom has a private shower room with a shower, a bathroom cabinet, a heated towel rail and a washing machine. A separate toilet and sink completes this floor.
The beautiful wooden staircase leads to the second floor. There you will find bedroom 2. This is a large bedroom under the eaves with exposed beams and has a large double bed (160 cm), a chest of drawers and a hanging rail. On this floor you will find a walk-in shower, a bathroom cabinet and a heated towel rail. There is a separate toilet.
Efficient electric heating and double-glazed windows provide comfort in cooler seasons, and in summer the thick stone walls keep the house cool.
Gite Carrel de Domme is ideally located in a quiet side street of the 13th century bastide village of Domme. Domme dominates the valley and offers the most amazing views over the valley from the ramparts, and from the village you have easy access to all the tourist sites of the Perigord Noir. (Sarlat 10 km, les Eyzies 30 km, La Roque Gageac 5 km) Many sports activities can be found nearby (swimming and canoeing in the river), golf courses, horse riding and much more and the house is easily accessible from the car route the A20, just 30 minutes, and less than 1 hour from Bergerac airport.
