In the cozy town of Couze-et-Saint-Front, you will find Gite Claire. Gite Claire is a beautiful and charming holiday home for 4 people (+ a baby) and not far from all the popular sights of the Dordogne region.

Description
On the ground floor you will find the living room with kitchen. The living room is furnished with a dining table with 4 chairs and a dresser. The kitchen is equipped with a tiled worktop with sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric hob with 3 burners, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle, kitchenware and crockery and a freezer. From the living room you have direct access to the terrace. The holiday home has recently been renovated with an authentic atmosphere due to the rough stones and bleached wooden elements. The wood stove is very suitable to create a pleasant temperature in the low season. 

The shower room and separate toilet complete this floor. The bathroom has a washing machine, double sink, shower and towel rack. On the top floor you will find a small living room with TV and access to the two bedrooms. The small living room has a 2-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, satellite TV, WIFI, access to your Netflix subscription, DVD player, HIFI and USB port. Bedroom 1 has a comfortable bed of 140 cm, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and an armchair. Bedroom 2 has two single beds of 90 cm, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and an armchair. For a baby, a high chair, a baby bed and a baby bath are available free of charge. Your pet is very welcome in Gite Claire.

Outside
The 30m² terrace is located on the southwest and is the ideal place to eat outside or relax in the shade in the summer. The terrace has a bistro table with 4 chairs, a parasol and 2 armchairs. It is possible to park your vehicle for free on one of the public parking spaces on 10 meters away from the gite.

You will find within 500 meters in the village that extends along a road with local shops including 2 bakeries, 2 mini supermarkets, a local producers' shop, tobacconist's, 2 restaurants, pharmacy, florist, flea market, hairdresser, post office and garage. The pleasant town of Lalinde is 3 km away and has 2 supermarkets. The large city of Bergerac offers all shops and other services. During your stay, do not hesitate to stock up at the many markets where you will find local food products throughout the year. The local markets are in Issigeac on Sunday morning, Bergerac on Wednesday and Saturday morning, Lalinde on Thursday. In the summer months there are many great night markets where you can enjoy delicious food, wine tasting and dance to French Chansons. Outdoor activities are also possible. Many hiking and mountain bike routes from the village including Beaumont-du-Périgord and Lalinde. Walks in Gabarres (Bergerac, Beynac) and hiring canoe-kayaks on the Dordogne and Vézère (from Limeuil 23 km The Bush of Cadouin 21 km and more upstream ...) Ongelooflijk mooi huis, met alle moderne voorzieni...
Ongelooflijk mooi huis, met alle moderne en snelle wifi. Prima in orde, netheid top en super gastvriendelijke verhuurder. tuin omheind voor de honden. In de omgeving van talrijke dorpjes met marktjes, kastelen en alles wat je maar wenst van winkels en gastronomie. Een échte aanrader !

Freundlicher Empfang, die Vermieterin ist bei Problemen oder Fragen auch jederzeit telefonisch zu erreichen. Das Haus liegt im Dorf, hat aber durch die geschickt angelegte Terrasse viel Privatsphäre und Charme. Im Haus findet man alles, was man braucht, es ist sehr sauber und alle Elektrogeräte sind hochwertig und gepflegt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Amazing week in the Dordogne
The property was a period cottage with a lovely peaceful courtyard. We like walking to local restaurants with our dog. There are some beautiful villages and good restaurants a short drive away. The location has a good boulangerie and small food store.
Overall a good base for exploring a beautiful region of France.

Séjour entre patrimoine et gastronomie..
Voici un séjour authentique: la situation est idéale dans le village Médiéval de Couze, à proximité de tout le centre historique des papeteries Tous les ingrédients d'un bon séjour sont réunis: La décoration et le confort du logement - un wifi qui fonctionne un restaurant à proximité "L'auberge des Marroniers", très bon et au rapport qualité prix vraiment honnête, et le personnel y est agréable. La gastronomie est vraiment un atout de la région. - Pas de nuisance sonore (situé dans une petite ruelle à l'écart). - Il faisait 27° durant notre séjour , une température très agréable. La maison est bien isolée et nous avons bien dormi. - L'hôte est accueillante et souriante.. à recommander.

Splendide, vélo, calme, restaurant, repos. Le temps a été splendide en ce mois de septembre. Nous sommes venus faire du vélo sur les petites routes du Périgord. Nous avons gravi la cote de Trémolat, les routes de Bergerac, Issijac, Mauzac. Ann, la propriétaire nous avait accueilli chaleureusement, nous confiant des cartes, et itinéraires, des restaurants. La semaine était trop courte pour tout faire. Le village se trouve hors du temps , calme et pratique avec ses petites boutiques proches. La terrasse nous a permi de manger dehors et de ranger les vélos en toute quietude.

“Bergerac-Couze, ein sehr schone Urlaud”

Wir waren 2 Wo.in dem Ferienhaus von Familie Marty.Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben,in der Ortsmitte aber unglaublich ruhig.Alles ist in 2,3 Min.errreichbar(Cafes,Bäcker,Markt, der restauriert, magazins ).Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet,bietet Komfort(Spül und Wadchmaschine,großes Fernsehen....) .Jean und Ann sind wunderbare Gastgeber die alles tun um den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen.Unsere beide Hunden wurden sehr gut aufgenommen und wenn man früh geht ist es auch kein Problem (um die Ecke)frei laufen zu lassen.In der Umgebung ist viel zu entdecken und Jean und Ann geben gute Tips
