This beautiful detached holiday home La Charente Ecuras is located in the cozy and child-friendly holiday park Village Le Chat. The holiday home is suitable for 2 to 5 persons and has a beautiful large sun terrace on the south and is located on a lake, where you can swim and fish. The park has a shared heated swimming pool with a separate children's pool.

The holiday home La Charente Ecuras is not far from the Dordogne and the house consists of two floors and has a living area of 70m². On the ground floor you will find the living room with open kitchen. From the living room you can walk straight onto the large terrace, located on the south. The house is fully equipped. The kitchen inventory has recently been completely renovated and the chairs and large table on the terrace have been replaced. In the holiday home you will find a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, barbecue, fireplace, DVD player, radio / CD player, internet / wifi and a flat screen television with reception of Dutch channels. A chromecast is linked to the television: The Google Chromecast is the best way to stream live television, video and apps to your TV screen. With the Chromecast you can watch live television, for example Netflix, Youtube and Disney Channel. You can control the Chromecast from your phone, tablet or laptop.

Outside
There is a large lawn in front of the house, including its own trampoline. In the lake behind the house is a large raft with a slide. Within walking distance is the park shop with daily fresh bread, a bar, restaurant, mini golf, tennis courts, jeu de boules field and table tennis table. The shared heated swimming pool and the children's pool are only a 2-minute walk away. Mountain bikes can be rented at reception.

Heating in France is expensive, because it is electric. Heating costs are not included in the price and are deducted from the deposit. Hot water is included in the price. It is requested to use the wood stove as much as possible in spring and autumn. Please bring your own wood. Thank you.
Cancellation is possible up to four weeks before the arrival date and is then free of charge. After that, half of the rental price will be charged in case of cancellation. If cancellation is the result of a government measure, no costs will be charged
Next to the holiday park is the 18-hole golf course De La Preze, a beautiful international championship golf course. One of the most beautiful courses in southwest France. The green fees are not too expensive and it is a quiet course. A green fee for 9 holes costs 25 euros, for 18 holes 35 euros.
The environment is rural. The landscape is hilly, with a mix of forests, meadows, fields and lakes. A beautiful green environment, with many attractions for a varied holiday. Walking and cycling routes have been plotted in the immediate vicinity. For example, visit the castle of La Rochefoucauld, the slipper museum in Varaignes (22 km), or the Romanesque church in Cherves-Chatelars. In summer there are also many cultural activities in the surrounding area, such as concerts, festivals and exhibitions.
Near Montbron (10 km) is a canoe center from which trips on the Tardoire can be made. You can practice sailing on Lac de Lavaud (24 km), there is also a beach with amenities. Horse riding is possible from the Center des Loisirs at the George du Chambon (10 km). The 18-hole golf course of "la Prèze" is within walking distance, other courses in the area are St. Junien (45 km) and Angoulême (45 km).
