In a wonderfully quiet location in the Dordogne, but not far from the famous town of Montignac-Lascaux, you will find the domaine Les Vieilles granges, an old stone farmhouse that has been transformed into 2 beautiful gites.
Description
La Borie is a gite for 2 people. The gite is spacious and cosily furnished. The tranquility and intimacy of the place inspire vacationers unanimously. Gite La Borie has a living room and open kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and much more. On the first floor you will find a small landing with a bright bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. A cot can be prepared and placed on the small landing adjacent to the bedroom.
Outside
The terrace is equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue. You have a view of the large garden and the trees. The swimming pool and bowling alley are close by but not visible from this gite. An area is accessible where sun loungers and games for young and old are stored. The garden is planted with trees and flowers, the surface of the property is 4 ha including more than 2 ha of woods where our two gentle and friendly donkeys roam.
We provide bed linen, kitchen and hand towels, but not bath towels. The rental price includes cleaning and tourist tax. It is understood that the tenants will respect the cleanliness of the place as much as possible. Pets are not allowed.
The arrival time at the gite is scheduled between 5 pm and 8 pm on Saturday (if the arrival can be later, please let us know). The departure of the following Saturday (in high season) is until 10:00 am at the latest.
A deposit of 25% of the total price is requested upon confirmation of the reservation by check or bank transfer. We do not accept holiday vouchers.
Gite La Salamandre is located between Montignac-Lascaux (the famous cave) and Sarlat, a medieval town known for its history and its authentic medieval character. The beautiful village of Saint Geniès with its castle and its slate roofs is 4 kilometers from Les Vieilles Granges. You can discover the Sunday morning market, the beautiful chapel of Cheylard, a café, restaurants in the area and a gourmet market every Wednesday evening in summer where you can taste local products in the shade of the trees.
