Gite Marie de Milandes is a very luxurious gite in the Dordogne for 6 people. There is a beautiful, spacious living room, light and airy with patio doors leading to the private terrace. There are two cozy sitting areas with comfortable sofas, coffee table, flat screen TV and lamps. A beautiful central fireplace separates the living room from the open kitchen/dining room. The dining area has a beautiful wooden table and six chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee maker.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor.
There are 3 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is a master suite with a king size double bed with built in wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps and chest of drawers. This room has a private bathroom with bath and shower, sink and toilet
Bedroom 2 also offers a king size bed, bedside tables, lamps and dressing table
Bedroom 3 has two single beds and a built-in wardrobe. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower, bathroom furniture and toilet.
For the comfort of our guests, bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided and the beds are made upon arrival.
There is mobile air conditioning and WiFi everywhere.

The gite has a private terrace with a table and comfortable chairs overlooking the valley. It is ideal for outdoor dining with its barbecue and parasol. Gite Marie de Milandes has a beautiful private swimming pool of 7.5 x 3.5 meters with sun loungers and parasols
There is private parking and an electric car charger.

For a total immersion in the culture of Les Milandes and the legacy of Josephine Baker, the owners would like to invite you to the weekly “Soirée Guingette”, an evening of music, dance and food in the nearby Parc de Josephine Baker, designed and built by Josephine herself in the 1940s! (July and August only)

An intermediate cleaning is available on request and final cleaning is also included

Gite du Gardien is located in the middle of a picturesque hamlet near the famous Renaissance castle. All the "must see" sights of the Black Périgord are within a radius of 25 km from the house, which is the ideal base to explore the area. The village of Castelnaud, also famous for its castle, this time medieval, is 4 km from the house where you will find shops and restaurants, and you can swim in the river and rent canoes.
