Pimpernel is suitable for 2 persons and is located in a wonderfully quiet place in Saint Dominique with a beautiful view over a rolling green valley.
Description
Pimpernel is situated on the ground floor and everything is finished with great taste and fully furnished. You can completely relax and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner on your own terrace. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle and also a small oven. The living room has a comfortable sofa with TV and DVD player, dining table and chairs. There is no satellite, but there is a large collection of DVDs that you can watch on a drizzly day. Upon arrival, the beds are made and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.
Outside
There is a lot of space, peace and quiet on the site. Enjoy the beautiful clear starry sky and the beautiful view over a rolling green valley. Take nice walks through the fields and forests. Pimpernel has a heated swimming pool and a tennis court, both of which you share with the hospitable Dutch owners. In your own home, on your own terrace and in your own garden, however, you have all the privacy you want.
There are nice restaurants in the area where you can eat a menu du jour complete with wine and coffee for about € 12.50! If you drive a little further away through the peaceful landscape, you can enjoy something more extensive culinary. In the area are many castles, beautiful caves and nice small-scale eco museums. Beautiful old villages with nice markets or vide greniers, where you often find the most beautiful things for little.
There is a golf course less than half an hour away and the cities of Limoges, Perigueux and Brive la Gaillarde can be reached in about an hour and are well worth a visit. Would you rather stay a day at Gite Pimpernel? Then you can relax by the heated swimming pool or do sports on the half-court tennis court, or simply enjoy the beautiful spot from your own terrace.
