With a total area of over 230m², Grande Maison Les Eyzies offers an entrance with a small dresser and large wardrobe. There is a beautiful living room of over 45m², furnished in "loft" style in the modern extension of the house. The living room is bathed in light thanks to the large bay windows that open onto the terraces and the garden, it is elegantly furnished with two large sofas, armchairs, coffee table, bookcases and a small desk. A piano and many books on art, history and novels are available to our guests during their stay.
There is a second sitting area, which connects the original stone part of the house with the large open room, also has two comfortable armchairs and a small library for children. The dining room is equipped with a beautiful rough wooden table and 6 chairs.
Adjacent you will find the kitchen, although small, yet perfectly functional. Excellently equipped with a full size fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, blender. It allows you to cook all the delicious Périgord Noir products brought from the nearby markets. The glass door opens onto the large poolside terrace. In the back kitchen you will find a large freezer, several storage shelves and a very complete laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron and drying rack.
To the left of the house offers the sleeping area with the 4 beautiful double rooms
Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom, accessible from the living room and has a double bed of 160 cm, a bedside table, a beautiful wooden wardrobe. This bedroom has its own Italian shower, a large bathroom furniture and a separate toilet.
Adjacent you will find bedroom 2 which also has a double bed, a large storage cupboard and a desk.
From the living room, two steps lead to the children's bedroom 3 with two single beds, a bedside table and a nice dressing area. Note that this room has two glass doors but no window.
Bedroom 4 is accessed from the entrance and offers a large 160cm double bed, two bedside tables, a beautiful chest of drawers and a dressing area.
The other bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 share a bathroom with bath and bathroom furniture and separate toilets complete the more than complete layout of the house.

During the hot summer days you can enjoy long refreshing dives in the private swimming pool with children's pool for the little ones. You can enjoy lunch or dinner outside on one of the shaded terraces or simply sunbathe in the shade of the hundred-year-old oak trees. In cooler weather the warm environment, central heating and two wood burning stoves provide you with everything you need for a comfortable rental in all seasons.
From breakfast to dinner under the stars, you will never tire of enjoying the beautiful semi-covered patio that runs the length of the house. Perfectly equipped with its large wooden table, its plancha and its garden furniture, you will spend wonderful moments there. To the front of the house is the second terrace, fitted with a wrought iron table and chairs and drowned under Virginia creeper, ideal for the hottest of the day. Around the house, the huge wooded garden of more than 6000m² offers many play and relaxation areas. The pool has a beautiful long swim ladder "toddler pool" that will seduce our youngest holidaymakers. The wrought iron barrier provides optimum protection. Parking for 3 to 4 vehicles.
Changeover day is flexible, 4 days in Mid season / 7 days in July / 10 days in August
At the crossroads of the Dordogne Valley (Sarlat, the classified villages of Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme) and the Vézère Valley, the cottage is the ideal starting point to discover all the riches of the Périgord Noir, including the facsimile of the Lascaux cave 15 km away. La Roque St Christophe, La Madeleine, medieval architecture - Château de Commarque and villages of character - Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère.
The house is 4 km from Les Eyzies de Tayac, the capital world of prehistory, where you will find local shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, equestrian center, river, multiple sports, cultural and gastronomic activities nearby.
