Description
La Ferme de Confolens is a gite in France, but it used to be a farm house. In La Ferme de Confolens, everything is on the ground floor. You have access to a large bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, both in the same room. There is also a living room annex kitchen and a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. La Ferme de Confolens has been completely renovated. Of course everything has remained in the style and sustainable materials have been used. Use of a washer/dryer for a small fee.
The rates are based on 2 people. We charge an extra 40 euros per person per week.
Outside
You have your own front garden with parasol, garden table and chairs.
There is a large swimming pool of 10x6m and a maximum depth of 120cm. The swimming pool is located behind the farm in the large garden. Everything is safely shielded by child-safe gates, so that the smallest cannot enter the water unseen. The pool is heated by solar tubes and has a spacious and cozy, partly covered, terrace. You share the pool with a number of other guests from 2 other gites and a small campsite.
In short, a wonderful place to relax and watch the children play. In the large shared garden behind the farm you will find various places where you can relax. There is also a swing and play equipment and a jeu de boules court. There are shady and sunny spots everywhere in the garden, but there is also a choice of a place in the sun or in the shade around the pool.
Domaine Le Petit Mas D'ile is located in the Charente. In the triangle between Poitiers, Angoulême and Limoges. Near the rustic town of Confolens. About 900 kilometers from Utrecht.
The area around Domaine Le Petit Mas d'Ile is ideal for beautiful bike rides and beautiful walks. But also visiting castles, markets and beautiful cities are certainly possible.
