La Maison Rouge is a beautiful (XVIIe century) stone-factory for 13 to 14 persons with 6 bedrooms, with a private covered heated pool, set in a 3000m² private garden with an orchard at the end of the village of Cénac, 2km from the famous bastide of Domme and 8km from the medieval town of Sarlat. It's the ideal place for large party or several families traveling together.

La Maison Rouge has 6 large bedrooms : 2 with double beds, 1 with a double and a single bed, 3 twin bedrooms and an extra mattress. The house has 1 bathroom with a bath and a toilet, 1 shower room with a toilet, and two other separate toilets. Living-room with a fireplace, radio and CD. Dining area in the living room Dining table on the semi covered terrace. The kitchen fully equipped with a gascooker, microwave, electric oven, fridge / freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a telephone which will take incoming calls and for contacting the emergency services. There is also WIFI internet available. Central heating.
Outside
Roofed patio area where you will probably prefer to take most of your meals, which is equipped with a large built-in barbecue and a pizza oven. There is another covered terrace with garden furniture on the left side of the house. The fenced private garden is 3000m² and there are sun loungers. There are many apple trees and even a small natural source. The house and the garden are ideal for children.
The heated swimming pool is 5m x 10m. It is fenced and fully covered, which means you can use it even when the weather is cloudy / rainy.
It takes a five minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Cénac is nestling into the hillside at the foot of the medieval bastide of Domme, the property is a short walk to the river Dordogne.

Close to the gite: you will find walking, swimming, fishing, cycling, mountain biking, tennis, historic sites, a theater / cinema, shopping, a restaurant, a food shop. Less than 45 minutes drive away: Within easy reach of the villa you will find boat hire, horse riding, a museum, a zoo, a theme park. Canoeing, boat trips, Chateaux, castles, gardens, prehistoric sites. Wine tasting. Hot air ballooning. Golf is available at the Domaine de Rochebois (6km away) and there is canoeing on the river available at Cénac.
