Description
The fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob is the perfect place to enjoy cooking with the local produce of the Perigord. The kitchen/living/dining room are spacious and with lots of light. There is comfortable seating for up to 5 people in both the living and dining room, UK and French satellite TV and pellet stove.
There are 3 bedrooms
The 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor have king size beds and the 1 bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. All 3 bedrooms are furnished with extra comfortable mattresses and pillows and have high quality bed linen and towels to ensure a good night's sleep. They all have air conditioning and a private bathroom. All bathrooms in this beautiful country house are well equipped with showers, toilets, toiletries, sink, and one bathroom has both a bath and shower. The bathroom for the bedroom on the ground floor also has a washing machine and dryer.

Accommodation for larger groups
The Cottage is next to our Beaux Reves 5 star villa. Each house is completely private and separated from each other with their own private garden and the Beaux Reves swimming pool. However, both houses can be rented together to accommodate larger groups of up to 12 people.
Outside
The kitchen and dining room opens directly onto a large south west facing private terrace (100 m2) with gas BBQ, comfortable outdoor seating, dining table and chairs. The terrace is completely private and has a view of the old church and the hamlet of Carlucet. The views are breathtaking with the most amazing sunsets over the valley. There is private parking for up to 2 cars.
The friendly English owners live next door to the manor house and are happy to provide recommendations or make reservations if you wish. But they also understand that this is your private time with friends and family, so we are very careful not to disturb your private time together.

Les Charmes de Carlucet Cottage is surrounded by the stunning peaceful countryside of the Dordogne and has panoramic views over the beautiful 11th century Romanesque church of Carlucet across the small valley. It is just 2km from the pretty village of Salignac.
There are many wonderful walking and cycling trails starting on the doorstep. The surrounding countryside is filled with amazing wildlife, rare and beautiful wild flowers. Many of France's most beautiful villages, majestic chateaux along the banks of the Dordogne and 147 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of prehistoric importance are all close by.
