Beautiful holiday home with heated swimming poolA wooden staircase leads from the kitchen to the garden level. A corridor with wooden floor opens onto the terrace and also leads to the cozy living room with two sofas, a wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV with English and French channels, DVD player, bookcase with various books, dresser and lamps. A glass door leads to the vine-covered terrace. Bedroom 1 has two single beds, which can be put together to form a large double bed. This bedroom has an en suite shower room, with shower cubicle, vanity unit and toilet. From the hallway a wooden spiral staircase leads to the top floor where you will find: Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a large bathroom with freestanding bath, washbasin, hanging rail and toilet. La grange ********** La grange is accessed from the outside and has recently been completely renovated to provide two further bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a small kitchenette with a fridge, sink, kettle and two armchairs, ideal for breakfast. The first floor offers: * a master bedroom with a king size bed (180 cm wide) * a second bedroom has a bunk bed, chest of drawers, sink and shower. * a modern shower room with sink and toilet completes this floor. All bedrooms have air conditioning. Internet access via WiFi throughout the house and extended to the school building and around the swimming pool. For our younger visitors there is a travel cot, high chair and three stair gates. Outside ******************** A vine-covered terrace, accessed from the living room and mid-floor hallway, provides a shaded area for breakfast or an aperitif and leads to the large lawned garden complete with stone well. The private heated pool is surrounded by terraces and has a tiled patio, equipped with sun loungers, parasol and table and chairs for outdoor dining. From the swimming pool you have direct access to "the school building" (the former girls' school of the village). This has recently been converted into a large and fully equipped summer kitchen with gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and large dining table and chairs. With its thick stone walls and exposed beams it offers a cool spot, right next to the pool, ideal for long, relaxing lunches in the heat of summer! A pair of iron gates hidden to the rear of the property provide vehicle access and there is secure parking for two cars, close to the old barn, with its kiwi plants growing up the facade! The site is completely fenced and ideal for children and our four-legged friends!
