Les Acacias is a luxurious new house with a private heated swimming pool. For 6 persons. Much privacy, located between Veyrignac and the beautiful village of Milhac, on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot.
Description
2 bedrooms a 2P bed, 1 bedroom with bunk beds and in the living room a couch bed. Bathroom with hydro jet bathtub and shower. The living room is equipped with a sofa bed, satellite TV (French - all Belgian channels (including TV1, VTM, VT4) .The Chromecast is installed on the flat screen. Tenants with their own subscription can use by example Netflix and Videoland. There is also a video tape recorder, computer with games, fireplace, games and books. Unlimited Internet via a telephone line. Kitchen: Fridge with separate deep freezer, gas-cooker, microwave and dishwasher. Garage: washing machine.
Outside
The house has been built in a wood ofh of 5000 m2. Garden: 6 garden chairs and a table.
For children there is an entirely safe and closed tree hut. Big terrace with a table tennis table. A heated swimming pool of 8m x 4m with a small toboggan, Romanesque staircase and children's plays. Depth of 1m to 2m25. Shower at solar-energy. There are 4 pool beds.The garden and pool are fully fenced.The swimming pool is being maintained weekly.
Water temperature minimal: Apr-Oct 21 degrees - May-Jun-Sep 23 degrees - Jul-Aug 25 degrees.
The pool of Les Acacias is equipped with an electric telescopic pool roof, which enables swimming outside in the early spring and the late autumn!
Cars may be charged “provided this is reported and paid for in advance”. We ask 75 euros in advance per week. After departure, the meters are read and the remainder is returned. Charging is done via a socket and not a fast charging station.
Surrounding area
Milhac is located on the border of Dordogne and Lot and is a small medieval village of 200 inhabitants, attracting visitors with its quiet pace of life and charming architecture. All shopping in Gourdon at 10 km or in Groléjac at 6 km. The village is situated on a hill and the Milhac castle is near.
The river Dordogne (about 15 minutes) is a piece of heaven on earth, situated at the end of the downhill valley. You actually feel as if you are long away from any kind of civilization , covered in green nature around the blue water. Birds, butterflies and wild flowers surround the river.
Activities
The surroundings invite you for beautiful long walks, biking and horse riding trips. Mountain bikes can be rented. There are stables 1 km away for classes or trekking. Near Groléjac, 6 km away, a small lake provides fishing, swimming and wind surfing facilities and tennis. At 6 km you can rent canoes for lovely quiet trips on the Dordogne, with magnificent views of several castles along the river. Near Vitrac at 15 km a beautiful 9 holes-golf-course.
