Maison Beynac is located in the heart of the listed village of Beynac-et-Cazenac, equidistant from the tranquil Dordogne River and the beautiful medieval chateau.
Maison Beynac has undergone a complete renovation in which the charm of the old blends harmoniously with modern and luxurious comfort. Maison Beynac offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious and bright living room and a fully equipped kitchen.
With a total area of 130m², you will find on the ground floor a large living room, bright and warm, largely open to the terrace and the swimming pool thanks to its large bay window. The room is organized in different areas. A dining area with a beautiful modern wooden table, 8 comfortable chairs, a sideboard, a small sideboard and a desk. A comfortable sitting area with a 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, two footstools, a coffee table, a TV cabinet and a large flat screen TV.
Adjacent to the beautiful kitchen which is perfectly equipped, 4-burner induction hob, oven, microwave, large fridge / freezer, filter coffee maker, kettle, grill bread, dishwasher. The crockery, new and of high quality, and all the cooking utensils are generous in number. The dining area with 4 seats and perfect for breakfast.
There are 4 bedrooms
Separated from the living room by a small airlock, and therefore very quiet, bedroom 1 offers a double bed a very large bed of 180 x 200 cm, a chest of drawers and coat hooks.
Adjacent is the first fully tiled bathroom with an XL walk-in shower, a bathroom furniture and a heated towel rail.
There is also a laundry room with washing machine, iron/ironing board, coat and shoe storage.
A toilet with fountain completes this floor.
From the living room, the beautiful oak staircase leads to the first floor where the other three bedrooms are located.
The landing leads to bedroom 2. It is a double bedroom on the right, furnished with a very comfortable 160 x 200 cm bed, chest of drawers and coat hooks. It has a large window overlooking the pool and even a view of the Château de Beynac!
Opposite you will find bedroom 3. This room has two single beds and a storage chest of drawers.
Bedroom 4 is the last room and is located on the left at the end of the hallway. It is furnished with a double bed of 160 x 200 cm, and a large dressing room in the hallway with cupboard space and storage shelves.
This room has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathroom furniture.
Separate toilet with sink also completes this floor.
The house is very cool in summer thanks to the thick stone walls.
In winter it is particularly comfortable thanks to a particularly efficient electric central heating.

Outside, you will benefit from a private heated swimming pool with shutter, two terraces, parking spaces and a garden of more than 4,000 m². Although the living room has two dining areas, you will surely enjoy your meals outside on the large terrace at the front of the property. Equipped with a large table and 8 chairs, the weber type barbecue is waiting for you to grill! In the heat of the summer you can enjoy the soothing shade of the mulberry plane trees.
The garden furniture - with four armchairs and a coffee table - is ideal for a lazy afternoon, or to enjoy a drink (or two!) while overlooking the garden, the swimming pool and the view of Château de Beynac! The extensive garden of more than 4,000m² offers children several play options, an activity porch and a beautiful lawn for football matches. The beautiful 9 x 4 m swimming pool, equipped with four sun loungers and a parasol, has a sunken shutter that offers maximum safety to our young holidaymakers. For the comfort of our guests, the pool is heated from mid-April to mid-October. A parking space for two vehicles completes the more than generous equipment of the house.
Changeover day is flexible, 4 days in Mid season / 7 days in July / 10 days in August
Maison Beynac is located between the Dordogne River and the famous medieval castle of Beynac. The center of the village, classified as one of the most beautiful in France, is 500 meters away on foot. In Beynac you will find local shops and very good restaurants.
The village with all the shops of Saint-Cyprien (supermarket and very nice market on Sunday morning) is 6 km away. Sarlat-la-Canéda, city of art and history listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 12 km away. Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle of the Périgord Noir, the house is the ideal starting point for exploring the Dordogne: these classified villages (Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Belves...), these medieval bastides (Domme, Monpazier . . .), these medieval castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, De Commarque, Biron...) and its cave dwellings (Fond de Gaume, Rouffignac, La Roque St Christophe, Lascaux...) are all essential sites in the immediate vicinity. For sporting holidays, many hiking trails and canoe and kayak excursions depart from Beynac itself. Not to mention tree climbing, cycling, horse riding, golf, via ferrata... you're spoiled for choice!
