Maison en Bois is a beautiful holiday home for 5 people in an oasis of calm, right in the touristy Dordogne. The holiday home is located near Castelnaud-la-Chapelle. At the holiday home there is a covered terrace overlooking the fields and forests. On the terrace, with BBQ there is a garden table with chairs and a swimming pool with sun beds to enjoy a peaceful holiday.

Maison en Bois is a new and cozy holiday home, decorated with authentic materials. The country setting is in harmony with the peaceful surroundings. There is a cozy living room with open kitchen. The comfortable kitchen has an electric stove, fridge, combitron, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pots and pans so everything is provided to prepare a delicious meal.
In the living room is a TV, with DVD, bluRay, radio and CD player. It is a child friendly holiday home with free highchair, cot and box. Bath and bed linen is included in the price, upon arrival your bed is made. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor.

1 Bedroom has 3 single beds, one of which is a high sleeper.
Each bedroom has a bathroom with walk in shower and sink.
Outside
A private swimming pool 5 x 3 meters. The pool is completely fenced and the terrace has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Pets can go on holiday with their owner (maximum 2 on request). There is enough space for the children. Behind the nature house is a forest, swing and slide for the little ones.
Maison en Bois is situated at a short distance of Castelnaud, Beynac, Domme, Daglan and the castle of Josephine Baker, Chateau des Milandes, and at 14 kilometres of Sarlat. There is a small supermarket and a bar/tabac-restaurant at walking distance. The surroundings are really splendid and are full of history and culinary surprises. The region famous is for its black truffles, foie gras and confit de canard and excellent regional kitchen. There are regularly (evening) markets in the direct surroundings, where local products can be tasted and bought. Very nice is the annual wine market in Cenac (especially the Cahors and Bergerac wines).
Activities
There are several canoe trips starting in Castelnaud la Chapelle; this is still the best way to discover the Dordogne. The number of castles to visit is overwhelming. At a short distance by car you can play golf, walk, mountainbike, ride a horse, do water sports, soar or fly and play tennis.
