Maison Marty is a wonderful place for a holiday in the Dordogne.
There is a veranda, which provides shade during the hot summer days. There is a spacious and comfortable living room with sofas, coffee table, a flat screen smart TV and internet WiFi access. There is a pellet stove which makes it very cozy in the winter months. The spacious kitchen/dining room has been recently renovated and is very well equipped with a wooden table and 6 chairs. The kitchen has a built-in oven, microwave, fridge, freezer; electric stove; dishwasher; washing machine; coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Through the veranda you access the downstairs shower room with toilet and washbasin, and also the washing machine
A fixed staircase leads to the first floor where there is a small landing. There are 2 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 features a double bedroom with an extra large double bed (180 cm wide) and large wardrobe,
Bedroom 2 has a large double bed (160 cm) and a single bed and wardrobe
There is a separate toilet, which completes the floor.
From the master bedroom a staircase leads to the second floor where you will find a family bathroom with bath, shower and bathroom vanity unit.

The 5m x 4m private swimming pool is heated from May to September and has sun loungers and parasols, ideal for relaxing afternoons
The terrace with retractable awning provides shade from the midday sun and is an ideal place for an aperitif with table and chairs. The small garden has a grassed area and is fully enclosed for the safety of our younger guests (and our four-legged friends!)
There is private parking for two cars

The Dordogne River and the village of Cénac Saint Julien are just 2 kilometers away. And the famous medieval market town of Domme and Sarlat nearby.
Cénac is a large village with a post office, pharmacy, doctor's surgery, supermarché, newsagent, 2 bakers, 2 butchers, hairdresser and a number of cafes, eateries, a garage and a Crédit Agricole bank. Every Tuesday there is an excellent market, a farm shop with local produce and a wine shop.
