In the open living room you will find a fully equipped wooden kitchen with dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, toaster. There is a table and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast. The dining area is in the middle of the living room with a mezzanine above it. The dining table seats up to 8 people. There is a cozy and comfortable seating area with sofas and armchairs. The seating area is accessible via a small staircase and you can sit comfortably around a wood stove, ideal for stays in the mid or low season.
The sitting room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD and French doors to the private terrace and the garden. On the ground floor there is a shower and toilet and a laundry room with washer / dryer and a second fridge with freezer.
The beautiful wooden staircase leads to the first floor where you find on the left the main bedroom with a super king size bed. A family bathroom with bath and shower, sink, toilet and bidet. The other two bedrooms are on the right of the stairs, on the second mezzanine. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a small single bed. Ideal for a child who wants to sleep with his parents. Bedroom 3 has two single beds, which can be combined into a large double bed.

The garden has an enclosed private courtyard surrounded by roses and wisteria, with table and chairs and garden furniture for relaxing. There is a private swimming pool that is heated from May to September 6m x 4m. The pool is fenced for the safety of small children. At the rear of the house is the large fenced garden lawns with sun loungers and a swing and slide.

The friendly and very discreet owners live in the building next to Maison Saint Pompont. They have a private swimming pool and garden and do not have a direct view of the terrace with swimming pool and the property's garden. They are happy to give you recommendations about local attractions or help where needed, but they greatly respect the privacy of their guests.
During the high season, preference is given to a rental of two consecutive weeks. Single weeks will be accepted as soon as they appear.
Maison Saint Pompont is located in Poncet a small hamlet on a hill near the village of Saint Pompont in the heart of the southern Dordogne. Saint Pompont has a small grocery store, a bakery, butchers and a few bars and restaurants. It also has a weekly market on Friday morning and a night market on Saturday evening in July and August, where you can eat in the village.
The house is only a half hour drive from all the sights of the Dordogne Valley, including the aforementioned medieval villages of Domme, Beynac, Castelnaud and La Roque Gageac.
