Le Pigeonnier de Saint Cyprien is a beautiful villa for 8 people, and is located on the edge of the beautiful medieval village of St Cyprien, in the middle of the Perigord Noir with all the tourist attractions of the Dordogne within 25 km. There is a large private swimming pool and beautiful views from the terraces.
Description
Le Pigeonnier de Saint Cyprien is quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac and only a 10 minute walk (500m) to the village center with restaurants and shops including an attractive weekly market.
On the ground floor: you will find a dining room, a cozy lounge, with comfortable sofas, a huge stone fireplace and direct access to the terrace. A cozy, fully equipped kitchen with a table and chairs and access to a second large terrace with beautiful views. From the kitchen a staircase leads to Bedroom 1. This is a mezzanine room with two beds for the children. Although this room has no door, it is still very private and kids love it.
On the 1st Floor you will find the other 3 spacious bedrooms.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed and an ensuite bathroom (shower and 2 sinks). Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. Adjacent is a bathroom with a sink and a bath. Toilet. Bedroom 4 has a double bed. All equipment and beds in the house are of good quality. Bed linen and towels can be rented as an extra service. Cot and high chair are available on request and for a fee.
Outside
Entrance via the large terrace at the front of the house. The terrace faces south and is partly covered to provide shade during the hot summer days. Two terraces, both equipped with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. A large private swimming pool, 10m * 5m and 0.80 m to 2.10 m deep. For the safety of the youngest holidaymakers, there is a gate with a lock. Mature trees and shrubs such as olive trees, palm trees. Large area at the back of the house, ideal for children to play (fully fenced) and space to park 4 cars.
The house is only situated at 500m from the center of the village of St Cyprien. Shops, restaurants, cash points, wine shop and great open Sunday morning market in the village. Supermarket and petrol station at 1,5km. The Black Perigord dominates the Vezere and Dordogne Valleys. A countryside timelessly beautiful since prehistoric times. Montignac, Font-de-Gaume, les Eyzies-de-Tayac (Prehistoric Capital), la Roque-Saint-Christophe, le Bugue, Limeuil, Terrasson, Saint-Cyprien and Sarlat. There too many castles and caves to mention. Dordogne river at 1,5km, Sarlat at 20km.
