Welcome to Roquefiral, a beautiful 18th century house for 10 people with large private pool. An oasis of peace in the heart of the Perigord. The house is just five minutes from the center of Le Bugue, with its supermarkets, and an excellent weekly market, which is well known in the area. The house is completely renovated in 2011 and offers all the comfort for a family or friends holidays in the Dordogne.
Description
On the ground floor: A large hall with a toilet and sink. A beautiful bedroom with a large double bed (160cm wide) and a large wardrobe with a private bathroom with bathtub, sink and toilet. A beautiful living and dining room with excess to the garden.
Well equipped kitchen: large fridge / freezer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, breakfast bar. On the other side of the living room, a large bedroom with two single beds (each 90 cm wide), which can be joined together to an extra large double bed, a table and four chairs and a door to the garden. A private bathroom, newly renovated with shower, sink and toilet.
The remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor, with three bedrooms, four bathrooms with shower and two toilets. Two bedrooms with two single beds, wardrobe and a small room with bidet and washbasin. These rooms share a bathroom with shower and toilet. The last bedroom has a double beds with a private bathroom with shower and toilet
Outside
A large garden of several hectares with numerous fruit trees, bushes and a large lawn,so the ideal place for kids. Large covered terrace, equipped with table and chairs and barbecue. This is the ideal place for a leisurely lunch or evening dinner. A beautiful swimming pool of 10m x 5m, with sun loungers, parasols and protected by a soft cover. Removable screens can be placed on request in order to ensure the safety of younger visitors. The house has lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It is the ideal place for a holiday.

The town Le Bugue offers supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl and a large Intermarché), restaurants, a large weekly market. In Le Bugue, you’ll find Le Bournat, a re-creation of 19th century village life with demonstrations of traditional crafts; le Gouffre de Proumeyssac (crystal cathedral); Aquarium du Périgord Noir and Bara Bahu (prehistoric caves). The surrounding area is full of beautiful medieval bastide villages, including Sarlat, Domme, Limeuil, Belves and Monpazier (four of “les plus beaux villages de France”).
A bit further: Perigueux, city of culture and history, and Bergerac with its wine museum; the famous castles Castelnaud, Milandes and Beynac, as well as the beautiful gardens at Meyssignac; many famous caves such as Lascaux, La Roque St Christophe, Grotte de Villars and the Grottes du Cazelle and Cap Blanc; Musee de Prehistoire at Les Eyzies (8km).
Activities
Canoeing and kayaking on both the Vézère and the Dordogne. Walking and cycling along the marked paths which start from the house lead to unspoilt and beautiful countryside. Swimming (in the swimming pool) or in the Dordogne. Golf (15 minutes). Tennis in Le Bugue. Fishing in the river. Horse riding and trekking. Cookery courses at a local restaurant.
