Vieux Moulin de Domme is a fantastic accommodation that belongs to the Stanley Kubrick family. This beautiful holiday home is located in the Dordogne, in Domme, in one of the most beautiful cities of France. The holiday home has a private swimming pool, a large walled garden and spectulair views over the Dordogne valley.
Description Main house

The wooden front door opens into a long corridor that is covered with Mrs. Kubrick's paintings. There is a spacious and elegant living room with comfortable couches around the attractive fireplace. There is a flat-screen TV and a large dining table for 10 people. The French doors open into the terrace where you can dine outside. The large kitchen is well equipped with all luxury appliances, such as a side-by-side refrigerator with freezer; oven; dishwasher; coffee machine; toaster; kettle .... The island offers an electric cooker. A large wooden garden table and benches are the ideal place for a meal by the stone fireplace.
There are 7 bedrooms
Bedroom 1 has two single beds that can be joined to a king size bed and a dressing table and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 has a king bed and marble fireplace. This room has a private sink that is cleverly hidden in a closet. These two bedrooms share a bathroom on the other side of the hallway with a bath, shower and sink.
Bedroom 3 has two single beds that can be joined into a king size bed and a wardrobe. This bedroom has a private bathroom with shower with shower and sink.
Bedroom 4 has a single bed and is accessible from the hallway or from the shower room, ideal for a child who wants to sleep close to his parents. There are two separate toilets on this floor

Bedroom 5 is a large bedroom with a large double bed. A glass door opens to a small wrought-iron balcony. This bedroom has an ensuite shower room with large shower, sink and toilet.

The guest house is accessible from the outside and can accommodate up to 4 people. There is a kitchenette with fridge and kettle is ideal for breakfast. There are 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a large double bed has glass doors to a private terrace. The 2nd bedroom offers two single beds and plenty of storage space. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath with shower, sink and toilet.

The property is set in a garden of more than 4000 m², surrounded by stone walls and offers complete privacy in the heart of Domme. The sunken terrace is located under the kitchen and offers a sheltered place for dining or just for relaxing. A second terrace is located next to the lounge and has a table and chairs. There is a beautiful private swimming pool measuring 8m x 4m and is secured by a sunken alarm. The enormous garden consists of lawns, ideal for ball games and hundred-year-old trees. From the end of the garden you have a panoramic view over the Dordogne valley. You can see the hot air balloons rising above the mist in the early morning, or the sun setting in the evening. There is an additional shower room, accessible from the outside and offers a shower, sink and toilet. On the street you can park the car at the front and side of the house.
Changeover day is flexible, 4 days in Mid season / 7 days in July / 10 days in August
Vieux Moulin de Domme is fantastically located in the pretty village of Domme, with the shops and tasteful restaurants of the bastide a short walk from the house. Domme is remarkably situated on a rocky crag with a view of the Dordogne valley. It is only a few kilometers from the pretty town of Sarlat and a short distance from the caves of Lascaux and Padirac, as well as several castles - Beynac and Castelnaud are the best known.
