The house with a living area of 200m2 is nicely furnished with a fully fitted kitchen, equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and ironing facilities.
There is a large open dining room and a lounge with a nice fireplace. There is a DVD player, hi-fi system, radio, and satellite / cable TV. Wi-Fi internet access is available.

2 bathrooms on the ground floor and 1 bathroom on the first floor.
In total there are 4 bedrooms and a mezzanine. The mezzanine is above the dining room, which you probably won't use much.
Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor with two double beds and on the mezzanine there is also a double bed.
Finally, there are three bedrooms on the first floor. Two of these bedrooms are interconnected so they are not completely private.

A large quiet garden of about 2000m2 where nobody can see you. There is a large private pool. Everything is well fenced and the garden has a barbecue, private parking, garden furniture, terrace, a sandpit and a swing. There are no surrounding houses, this is a detached house. Enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner at the table in the garden. There is also a small pond.There are carp in the pond. You are allowed to fish with a fishing license that you buy at a tobacconist. Dogs are allowed, the garden is completely fenced.
The holiday home is a few kilometers from the village of La Douze. On the request of the owner, the specific address data will be provided after booking.
Vergt (9km) offers a great array of amenities, like a morning market every Friday and during the summer months a Tuesday night market. It has all the shops you need plus a post office, several bars, a very good pizza restaurant and cafés. Bakery at Lacropte. Périgueux at 25km.
The house is situated in the heart of the strawberry, foie gras and chateaux region, surrounded by historical sites, caves, chateaux, medieval towns, two rivers with many lakes and breathtaking scenery. Situated off the beaten track, close to the Dordogne and Vezere rivers and lying between the beautifully historic towns of Bergerac and Perigueux.

Tennis, cycling and walking. Golf, horse riding, fishing, are within a 10 minutes drive. Caves, chateaux, wine tours, sailing & canoeing and private flying lessons are within a 20 minutes drive. Go-carting, paint balling, hot air ballooning, windsurfing, water skiing etc… are within a 30 minutes drive.
