The covered terrace offers a lot of shade and is ideal for a relaxing barbecue or for enjoying a nice glass of wine from one of the most famous wine regions. The heated swimming pool is completely private and a lovely place to live.

Villefranche de Lonchat is situated between the vineyards of Bordeaux and Bergerac. It has two doctors, a dentist, pharmacy, boulangerie, epicerie, charcuterie, 2 bar/restaurants and a recently renovated hotel, with an excellent restaurant. Two minutes away is the Lac de Gurson which offers boating, fishing, swimming, windsurfing, horse riding and tennis. There are also four inexpensive bar/restaurants and the large sandy beach has two snack bars and a water chute. Golf at Chateau de Vigier is 30km away. Villefranche de Lonchat has a night market, every Friday, during July and August, which include music, dancing and BBQ!
The nearest town is Montpon (10 minutes by car). Ste Foy la Grande and Castillion de Bataille are close by. The medieval town of St Emilion, the world famous wine centre, with its many gastronomic restaurants is only 15 minutes away.
