Villa Thomassou Dordogne is a spacious comfortable villa for 9 people and is located in lush greenery near the main tourist attractions of the Périgord Noir. There is a beautiful fenced private swimming pool and large garden and it has a beautiful view over the valley.
Description
The villa offers a very large and bright living space with a view to the garden and the beautiful private swimming pool and the villa is fully equipped. The villa is on two floors and is ideal for 6 vacationers. A single bed with drawer provides additional sleeping space for two children.
The ground floor offers:
An entrance with a spacious storage cupboard. There is a beautiful living room of more than 50m² and consists mainly of light through the huge bay window that opens onto the front terrace. There is a lounge area with a leather sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee tables, TV cabinet and large TV. A dining area with a large wooden farmhouse table, 8 chairs and a china cabinet. Separated by a bar, the American kitchen offers the most complete and high-quality equipment: 4-burner gas hob, gas oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle. The glass door from the kitchen leads out to the rear terrace, also furnished with a garden table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a brick built barbecue to be supplied with charcoal. From the dining room, a few steps lead to the second living room, which is just as bright. It is elegantly furnished with two sofas, two armchairs, a large coffee table to match the wood burning stove, ideal in mid season and low season for the cooler evenings. The double glazed door also gives direct access to the large terrace, garden and swimming pool at the front of the house.
Back at the entrance of the villa, a small corridor leads to the sleeping area on the left. This is a very quiet part of the house.
There are 4 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom and has a large 160cm x 200cm wrought iron bed, bedside tables and a large storage cupboard. The large bay window gives direct access to the terrace.
Bedroom 2 also has a large double bed 160cmx200cm, bedside table, a closet space and a chest of drawers.
Adjacent you will find the first bathroom, which is equipped with a beautiful tiled shower with sink and toilet.
The second bathroom also offers a tiled shower, bathroom furniture and toilet. Accessible from the hallway, the laundry room fills the ground floor with washing machine, ironing set, small extra fridge and 3-drawer freezer.
Bedroom 3 is the family room and is located on the 1st floor, accessible via the beautiful solid oak staircase.
This bedroom is particularly spacious, it has a double bed 140 cm wide and a single bed 90 cm wide, which can be used as a sofa or extra bed. For more sleeping flexibility, a trundle bed is also available for a last child.
It has a cute private balcony overlooking the garden and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Bedroom 4 is the last bedroom with a double bed
Upstairs, on the large landing and in the office, you can easily place a cot comfortably and quietly.
Outside
The extensive garden is enclosed by hedges where many birds like to come and nest. The total area offers more than 2500 m² with lawn and is ideal for playing outside or relaxing! The garden furniture, hammock and deck chairs are ready for you. The two terraces at the front and back of the villa are both equipped with tables and chairs, where you can enjoy from breakfast to dinner under the stars or soak up the sun! From the villa and the terraces you have a beautiful view of the landscape. The private pool has Roman steps and is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. And a big advantage the pool is fully secured and offers optimal safety for small holidaymakers. There is a parking space for 2 to 3 cars on the property.

Located in the heart of the touristic Dordogne (Périgord Noir) - the listed villages of Beynac, Roque Gageac, Domme, Belves, the medieval town of Sarlat, the caves of Lascaux, Proumessac, Font de Gaume, the castles of Castlenaud, the Milandes etc etc ... are all accessible within a radius of 25 km. The Olivarie golf course (18 holes) is 5 km from the house. The Dordogne, where you can swim without risk, is 5 km from the house. The villages with all amenities of Siorac and Saint-Cyprien are equidistant of 4 km from the house.
